AdaptHome is a free planning tool for disabled veterans navigating VA adaptive housing grants. Every donation helps us stay free, add more tools, and expand our contractor network.

AdaptHome is being formed as a non-profit. We intend to apply to the IRS for 501(c)(3) recognition and have not filed that application yet. Until it is granted we cannot accept tax-deductible donations.

Other ways to help right now
Share the tool
The single most useful thing right now is getting the calculator into the hands of veterans who are planning an adaptive housing project. Share adapthome.vet with your VSO, your local VA office, veteran community groups, or any veteran you know who is dealing with accessibility at home.
Advise the organization

How we'll use donations
Once we're able to accept contributions, donations will be used to:
- Keep the calculator, directory, and content free for veterans forever
- Grow our verified contractor network in every state
- Update VA grant data as figures change each fiscal year
- Add content and tools for additional disability profiles and project types
- Maintain hosting, security, and accessibility compliance
We will publish annual financial and impact reports once we are recognized as a 501(c)(3), in keeping with standard non-profit transparency practices.
