Support AdaptHome
AdaptHome is a free planning tool for disabled veterans navigating VA adaptive housing grants. Every donation helps us stay free, add more tools, and expand our contractor network.
Donations coming soon
AdaptHome is transitioning to a non-profit structure. Our 501(c)(3) application is in progress. We are not currently able to accept tax-deductible donations.
This page will be updated as soon as we are set up to receive contributions. If you'd like to be notified when donations open, email contact@adapthome.vet.
Other ways to help right now
Share the tool
The single most useful thing right now is getting the calculator into the hands of veterans who are planning an adaptive housing project. Share adapthome.vet with your VSO, your local VA office, veteran community groups, or any veteran you know who is dealing with accessibility at home.
Contractors: list your business
If you're a licensed contractor with experience in accessibility work — CAPS certification, VA SAH/SHA/HISA project experience, or general ADA-compliant remodeling — we want you in our directory. Always free for contractors.
Sign up as a contractorAdvise the organization
We are building a founding board and advisory group of veterans, VA claims agents, and accessibility specialists. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you at contact@adapthome.vet.
Corporate partners
If your organization supports veteran-serving initiatives and you'd like to discuss a partnership, sponsorship, or in-kind support, reach out at contact@adapthome.vet.
How we'll use donations
Once we're able to accept contributions, donations will be used to:
- Keep the calculator, directory, and content free for veterans forever
- Grow our verified contractor network in every state
- Update VA grant data as figures change each fiscal year
- Add content and tools for additional disability profiles and project types
- Maintain hosting, security, and accessibility compliance
We will publish annual financial and impact reports once our 501(c)(3) status is finalized, in keeping with standard non-profit transparency practices.
